Praying Together Today at 6:30pm (Generations Prayer: Men):

Guys, it’s easy to think, “I’ve got this”, or “I can fix this… and that… and that…” But in prayer, we discover strength, wisdom, and power beyond our own. Join with other men as we go to Jesus, learn from Him, and grow in prayer.

What to expect: A simple, guided time of prayer that is focused, practical, and accessible. This isn’t a discussion group, and there’s nothing you need to prepare in advance. You won’t be put on the spot to pray out loud – just an opportunity to show up and engage at your own pace.

When: The 4^th Thursday of the month from 6:30–7:00 PM

Who: Men of all ages and generations – whether prayer is new to you or already a meaningful part of your life.

Narcotics Anonymous is a global, community-based organization with a multi-lingual and multicultural membership. NA was founded in 1953. Today, NA members hold more than 61,000 meetings weekly in 129 countries. They seek recovery from the effects of addictions through a proven twelve-step program and regular attendance at group meetings. The group atmosphere provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. The name Narcotics Anonymous is not meant to imply a focus on any particular drug; NA’s approach makes no distinction between drugs including alcohol.

Feel free to join us wherever you are as we prayer walk our neighborhoods, work spaces, and passion places. While there will be NO in-person time tonight, you can always ask a brother or sister in Christ to join you wherever you will be praying, if you desire to partner together in prayer.

Fun, food, fellowship and faith are what we are all about!

Fun

God is a God of joy and life! Because of this we see having fun in a holy way completely in line with the heart of God.  We will be doing crafts, games, and more!

Food

Jesus seems to spend almost more time eating with people than anything else!  If eating with people is what Jesus did (even having one of his most important moments, the Last Supper, involve food) then we are going to eat a meal too!  We will also be conscious of any food allergies as well. Kids will eat with kids, adults with adults, and teens with teens, so that we can have some more intentional fellowship within our ages.  Speaking of fellowship…

Fellowship

Jesus spend so much time walking, talking and having fellowship with his disciples.  This allows for true, holy relationships to form – and God is all about holy relationships.  We desire to see some of these form as well!  Adults will even get to pray and chat with others adults who can related to what they are going through.

Faith

Everything we do is because of our faith in Jesus – the one who gives us life, love, joy, and peace!  We desire to see everyone experience this joy-filled wholeness through having faith in Jesus as well. Adults will specifically be resourced with helpful tools around parenting, financial stewardship, marriage, wholistic living, and more through the lens of Jesus.
