What is Family Adventure?
Fun, food, fellowship and faith are what we are all about!

- Fun
God is a God of joy and life! Because of this we see having fun in a holy way completely in line with the heart of God. We will be doing crafts, games, and more!

- Food
Jesus seems to spend almost more time eating with people than anything else! If eating with people is what Jesus did (even having one of his most important moments, the Last Supper, involve food) then we are going to eat a meal too! We will also be conscious of any food allergies as well. Kids will eat with kids, adults with adults, and teens with teens, so that we can have some more intentional fellowship within our ages. - Fellowship
Jesus spend so much time walking, talking and having fellowship with his disciples. This allows for true, holy relationships to form - and God is all about holy relationships. We desire to see some of these form as well! Adults will get to pray and chat with other adults who can relate to what they are going through.

- Faith
Everything we do is because of our faith in Jesus - the one who gives us life, love, joy, and peace! We desire to see everyone experience this joy-filled wholeness through having faith in Jesus as well. Adults will specifically be resourced with helpful tools around parenting, financial stewardship, marriage, wholistic living, and more through the lens of Jesus.
Where is Family Adventure?
Family Adventure this year will be at Jefferson Barns Vitality and Community Center in the Norwayne community! Our hope is that all people in this region will feel welcome to join us. We do not desire to have Family Adventure at our church building because we want to go to the people, not expect them to come to us. Jefferson Barns allows us do this and also offer something for our people from WFMC to grow too!

How can I be a part of Family Adventure?!
*If you are signing your whole family up please fill out a separate form for every person who will be participating. This will help us immensely! Note Family Adventure is a free event to all, please disregard the payment sections, thank you.*

Volunteer Role Descriptions
Opener/Closer
Start the day with prayer and VBS songs. Help children get to their correct group. Help with registration if needed. Finish the day with VBS songs and help with dismissal of the children.
Registration
Make sure everyone is registered. Keep a daily attendance. Keep an account of who has to be picked up and the adult is verified by ID.
Lesson Teacher
Teach the lesson for each week. You will have each age group throughout the day. Select an assistant if needed. Group leaders will stay with the children.
Arts & Crafts Teacher
Design crafts that will relate to the lesson for each week. Select an assistant if needed. Group leaders will stay with the children.
Activities Leader
Create games / activities for each week for each age group. Select an assistant if needed. Group leaders will stay with the children.
Children Group Leader
There will be two leaders per group. Gather the children at the start of the day during the opening. Keep the children together and stay with them throughout the day. Assist in each area if needed. Help with dismissal at the end of the day.
Snack Leader
Snacks will be ordered in advance but, we would neet setup and clean up for snack times. We may need you to possibly pick up the snacks.
Setup / Cleanup Leader
Help out with setting up for Family Camp. Organize chairs and tables and restore the community center back to normal after VBS.
